Room Attendant (Part-Time)

About the role

The Homewood Suites by Hilton in Holyoke is seeking a Part-Time Room Attendant to join their team. Located at 375 Whitney Avenue, Holyoke, MA 01040, this extended-stay hotel offers 114 suites with full kitchens for guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor, ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service.
• This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
• Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
• Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
• Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
• Flexible availability to work 9:00am to 3:00pm weekdays and 10:00am to 5:00pm on weekends, and available to work holidays.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Able to work on feet for extended periods.
• Navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.

Schedule

• 10:00am to 5:00pm on weekends
