Room Attendant - Midday Operations

Organization- Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino Summary Our Room Attendants are responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest comfort in all guest rooms and suites. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the resort’s reputation for exceptional service and providing a welcoming, refreshing environment for every guest. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, efficient, and able to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the housekeeping leadership team. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Clean and service assigned guest rooms, including making beds, replacing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities Perform Daily Service, including refreshing occupied guest rooms according to Hyatt standards Perform Departure Cleaning to ensure vacated rooms are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for arriving guests Perform Turndown Service as assigned, following established brand and property standards Maintain all areas to Hyatt’s cleanliness and presentation standards Restock carts and housekeeping supplies as needed Respond to guest requests promptly, courteously, and professionally Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns Follow all safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and equipment procedures Ensure lost and found items are properly logged and delivered to the appropriate team Support colleagues and maintain a positive, collaborative department culture Perform deep-cleaning tasks and additional assignments as directed Uphold confidentiality and security of all guest information Qualifications Previous housekeeping or related hospitality experience preferred, but not required Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision Reliable, punctual, and committed to high service standards Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English ⸻ Benefits Competitive compensation Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off, including vacation, sick time, and holidays 401(k) with company match Complimentary colleague meals Global Hyatt colleague room discounts Career development and training opportunities Education & wellness reimbursement programs Access to on-site amenities where applicable ⸻ Our Values Empathy | Integrity | Respect | Inclusion | Experimentation | Wellbeing ⸻ Equal Opportunity Employment All qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
