Limelight Hotels by Aspen One provide authentic and contemporary connections to their communities and the adventures that surround them. Each Limelight hotel is inspired by place, united by purpose, and set in the heart of elevated and unique locations across Colorado (Aspen, Snowmass, Denver, Boulder), Ketchum, Idaho, Mammoth, California, and Charleston, South Carolina (coming in 2028).

The Room Attendant reports to the Director of Housekeeping and is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms to brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms in accordance with hotel procedures, leaving rooms in a uniform arrangement as determined by housekeeping leadership.
• Communicate efficiently with guests and staff to address problems, collect information, and occasionally diffuse anger.
• Restock all necessary linens and amenities according to the guest room legend.
• Report status of rooms cleaned, any damage, hazards, repairs, or maintenance concerns to supervisor.
• Keep corridors and service areas clean and neat; bring linens and garbage to proper areas.
• Update daily room master worksheet before breaks, lunch, and end of shift.
• Perform deep cleaning of rooms twice yearly.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely manner and assume responsibility for all assigned rooms each day.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards when working with chemicals and handle biohazard materials and hazardous cleaning agents in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Identify and address guest concerns or room maintenance needs proactively.
• Maintain cleaning supplies, carts, and storage areas in a well-stocked and orderly manner.
• Handle last-minute room changes or urgent guest requests efficiently.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and hotel staff to ensure seamless operations while maintaining discretion and professionalism regarding guest privacy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of housekeeping and hotel policies, cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Knowledge of proper linen care, bed-making techniques, and room presentation standards.
• Awareness of hotel services and amenities to assist guests with inquiries.
• Ability to ensure rooms are cleaned, stocked, and presented to brand standards within required timeframes.
• Clear understanding of instructions and ability to report maintenance or security concerns.
• Ability to stay focused and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including exposure to chemical cleaning products that could contain allergens.
• Ability to understand and communicate in both Spanish and English.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, or be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Regularly work in adverse conditions, including slippery and uneven surfaces, and use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.
• Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance.
