About the role

The Housekeeper at Danforth Bay is responsible for ensuring that the cleanliness and readiness of all buildings, bathhouses, and rental units are held to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Daily/routine cleaning of all bathhouses and buildings, ensuring the quality standard established is met.
• Cleaning duties include but are not limited to cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers, washing windows, vacuuming, changing trash cans, washing walls, dusting services.
• Report any necessary repairs to the supervisor.
• Maintains the organization of all supply areas.
• Checks quantity of supplies and reports low levels to the supervisor.
• Passes along any concerns or comments from guests to the supervisor.
• Responds to additional requests from management and/or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Education: Must have a high school diploma, GED or working towards one of the two.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work outdoors during a variety of weather conditions.
• Reach/squat/bend/carry/push/pull/lift up 25 lbs. Occasionally may need to climb ladders.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Dependable and adheres to scheduled shifts.
• Problem solving skills, excellent communication, and customer service skills required with staff and guests.
• Strong attention to detail, speed, accuracy.
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to maintain guest and employee confidentiality.
• Strong work ethic, commitment, and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work weekends – Schedule will be Friday - Tuesday.
