Room Attendant / Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Courteously and pleasantly respond to guest needs and requests.
• Deep clean one room daily, including bathrooms, scrub basins, bathtubs, toilets, and tile floors.
• Disinfect surfaces in bathrooms and replenish supplies in guest rooms.
• Vacuum each room and hallway, report vacated and clean rooms, and address any out-of-order equipment.
• Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and personal appearance.
• Follow fire alarm and evacuation procedures, and ensure security of guests, associates, and hotel assets.
• Report any unusual conditions or repairs needed to the Executive Housekeeper.

Requirements

• Able to work flexible schedules.

• Knowledge of fire alarm and evacuation procedures.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours and work in a restricted space.
• Good eyesight enabling vision both near and far.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Clear, understandable speaking ability and hearing at a basic level.
• Ability to bend, stretch arms overhead, and lift up to 25 pounds.
