At Hotel Santa Barbara, a charming and historic boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, you’ll be a key part of our team. Situated a half-mile from the beach and Stearns Wharf and a block from the Paseo Nuevo outdoor shopping center, this role ensures every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting
• Review daily inventory of rooms, arrivals, and departures
• Review daily inventory of supplies needed to complete assignments
• Clean guest rooms including dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen area, lobby, and common areas
• Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits
• Pick up ground litter around the hotel or other visible areas
• May perform similar duties as requested by team leader

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior housekeeping and customer service experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to walk frequently
• Ability to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, and taste or smell
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
• Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• U.S. work authorization (required)

Pay

$20.00 per hour
