Room Attendant

We are looking for an energetic PM Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team at the Radisson Seattle-Tacoma. This role is central to delivering 100% guest satisfaction by providing clean, comfortable, and safe rooms.

About the role

Room Attendants are at the heart of what we do. This position requires availability for day, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Create guest satisfaction and exceed expectations through genuine hospitality and service brand behavior.
• Clean assigned guest rooms or suites per brand standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, arranging room furniture, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Maintain cleaning protocols, empty trash containers, and replace liners.
• Restock guest rooms with amenities such as soap, towels, and paper items.
• Ensure removal and appropriate disposition of guest room trays, glass, and silverware.
• Clean and vacuum exterior entryways and hallways.
• Keep linen closets and supply areas clean and organized.
• Attend to guest laundry and dry-cleaning orders promptly.
• Notify supervisor of any special guestroom issues or maintenance needs.
• Handle guest complaints or requests promptly; escalate to supervisor if needed.
• Secure all rooms or suites upon leaving.
• Demonstrate the Radisson experience through performance that reflects genuine hospitality and exceeds guest expectations.
• Provide personal attention, take responsibility, and use teamwork to deliver guest service.
• Listen, apologize with empathy, find solutions, and follow through when resolving guest problems.
• Deliver "Yes I Can!" genuine hospitality and teamwork consistently.
• Perform other duties as required to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and genuine hospitality.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of hospitality experience in housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Work well independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Ability to clean multiple room types and meet daily cleaning quotas.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Adherence to hotel policies and procedures.

Physical Demands

• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pull or push up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to squat, bend, kneel, and twist.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Pay

Hourly wage of $20.74.
