Room Attendant ($17.25/hr and up+) - The Watermark Hotel

About the role

The Hospitality Group manages more than 20 business‑class hotels, including properties from Intercontinental Hotel Groups, Marriott International, Hilton, Best Western Hotels, The Watermark Hotel, The Hay‑Adams Hotel, and Perch Putt. This position is responsible for cleaning guestrooms to B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group quality standards and providing friendly, courteous, and professional service in compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cleanliness: Clean and stock guest rooms with necessary amenities and supplies; ensure carts, linen, rooms, and equipment are clean and in working order.
• Guest Service: Ensure guest satisfaction with housekeeping services; respond to requests promptly and positively; work as a team player and support other departments as needed; follow Best Western’s guest service recovery program.
• Safety/Risk Management: Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with Best Western, brand, local, state, and federal regulations; inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report issues; use chemicals safely; follow procedures for guest and team‑member incidents; know hotel emergency procedures.
• Self Management: Plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet required volume; adhere to attendance, grooming, appearance standards, and department policies; attend required meetings; use equipment and supplies properly.

Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Housekeeping/laundry experience preferred.
• Attention to detail, customer‑focused attitude, and ability to work in a repetitive, fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lb consistently throughout the shift.
• Significant bending required.

Pay

Hourly wage: $17.25 – $17.25. The actual base pay offered is determined by variables such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, education, certifications, or professional licenses. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short‑ and long‑term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans, and more.
