Roofing Service Manager

About the role

The Roofing Service Manager position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic and extensive knowledge of various roofing systems. Simon Roofing is seeking candidates who are eager to grow within the company, potentially through experience, increased earnings, or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Make hands-on repairs and/or provide recommendations for low slope roofing systems.
• Perform evaluations and preventative maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols both on the job and while driving.
• Communicate clearly and persuasively in various situations.
• Be dependable and follow instructions.
• Drive a company vehicle to clients' buildings daily.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in the commercial roofing industry or related construction experience.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra and geometry.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel when local work is not available.
• Able to work weekends and holidays in emergency situations.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

Physical Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time throughout the day.
• Frequent ascending and descending of ladders up to 40 feet.
• Stationary position for extended periods.
• Outdoor work in varying extreme weather conditions (hot and cold).
• Lifting and unloading materials and equipment from various heights.
• Shoveling loose materials such as gravel, sand, metal, and snow or dirt.

What We Offer

• TOP OF INDUSTRY PAY ranging from $30.00 to $38.00 per hour, with an average annual salary of $85,000+
• Forty to more than forty hours per week, with additional overtime pay.
