Roofing Service Manager

About the role

The Roofing Service Manager oversees commercial and industrial roofing systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic and extensive knowledge of various roofing systems. This role offers opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Make hands-on repairs and/or repair recommendations, perform evaluations, and roofing Preventative Maintenance to low slope roofing systems.
• Follow safety protocols on the job and while driving.
• Communicate clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listen and get clarification; respond well to questions.
• Dependable; completes tasks on time; follows instructions, responds to management direction.
• Drive a company vehicle to clients' buildings daily.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) + years of experience in the commercial roofing industry or related relevant construction experience.
• Basic computer skills including Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to calculate figures and apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to travel when local work is not available.
• Able to work weekends and holidays in emergency situations.
• Effective communication skills through both written and verbal means in English.

Physical Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis throughout the day.
• Frequent ascending/descending of ladders up to 40 feet.
• Remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
• Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
• Works in varied extreme weather conditions (extreme hot and extreme cold weather).
• Lift heavy objects by hand or with a host and clean work area.
• Shovel loose materials such as gravel, sand, metal, snow, or dirt.

What We Offer

• TOP OF INDUSTRY PAY…$30.00 to $38.00 per hour range, On Average our Service Managers make $85,000+ per year.
• Forty & more hours per week (with overtime work and pay of 10-15 hours per week).
