Estimator & Project Manager – Commercial Roofing Location: Doral / South Florida Salary: $78,000 Base + Commission Additional Benefits: Car Allowance + Company Phone About The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Estimator & Project Manager to join a growing commercial roofing team. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from the initial bidding and estimating stage through final completion and closeout. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, estimating and take-off experience, and the ability to manage project budgets, schedules, field operations, and client relationships. Key Responsibilities Estimating & BiddingReview bid invitations, drawings, specifications, and addendumsPerform accurate material and labor take-offsIdentify roofing systems, accessories, labor requirements, and production considerationsPrepare project scopes, clarifications, material lists, proposals, and bid packagesObtain and compare subcontractor and vendor pricingCoordinate material pricing and lead timesAttend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughsWork with leadership to finalize project pricing Project Management Manage assigned roofing projects from kickoff through completion and closeoutDevelop project schedules, manpower plans, and sequencingCoordinate with field supervisors and crews to maintain project timelines and qualityEnsure projects comply with contract documents, manufacturer requirements, and safety standardsLead meetings with clients, consultants, inspectors, and internal teamsIdentify potential project risks and implement corrective actionsMaintain strong communication throughout the project lifecycle Financial & Administrative Management Monitor project budgets, job costs, and profitabilityPrepare and submit monthly pay applications with required documentationReview vendor invoices and verify them against purchase orders and deliveriesPrepare, price, document, and submit change ordersProvide percent-complete updates and financial reporting to AccountingCoordinate closely with Accounting and Administration to ensure accurate project documentation and billing Qualifications 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing or construction project managementStrong understanding of commercial roofing systems, including Modified Bitumen, TPO, PVC, SBS, and sheet metalExperience with estimating, bidding, and material take-offsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentsUnderstanding of job costing, billing, change orders, and project profitabilityStrong organizational, leadership, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyProficiency with Microsoft 365, PDF markup tools, and estimating softwareExperience with commercial or public-sector projects preferredDegree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferredBilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
