Roofing Project Manager

About the role

The Commercial Roofing Project Manager in Colorado oversees jobs in progress to ensure they remain on schedule, meet budget for both labor and materials, and monitor each job's safety record.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise commercial roofing crews and commercial roofing jobs
• Attend and participate in pre-construction meetings
• Read and understand field books with various construction job scopes of work, plans, and specifications to properly plan out jobs and perform work accordingly within schedules and budgets
• Establish lines of communication with external and internal customers (GC's, Building Owners, Owners Representatives, Consultants, Project Managers, Accounting, Operations, Field Personnel, etc.) before, during, and after job completion
• Instruct best practices for roofing production by fully participating in on-the-job training as well as periodic manufacturer training
• Train employees on safety procedures and safety equipment
• Teach terminology of roofing materials, tools, and equipment and proper use
• Plan, administrate, and participate as instructor in company-sponsored education programs for new hires and developing roof technicians
