Roofing Craftsman

Unique, advanced skill level within the divisional category in which you work: Roofing.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and direct Tech Is and Tech IIs who assist Craftsman on projects.
• Promote and actively participate in Chamberlin’s Safety Program and use safe work practices.
• Demonstrate and promote Chamberlin’s core values of safety, quality and teamwork.
• Help in the training and development of Technicians.
• Absorb and apply advanced knowledge and ability to demonstrate a proficient skill level for roofing.
• Ability and commitment to work product perfection and production within the specific skill set.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in Roofing, preferably in a commercial application.
• Experience: At least three years of experience in Roofing, preferably in a commercial application.
• Skills: Advanced knowledge and ability to demonstrate a proficient skill level for roofing.
• English speaking, bilingual preferred.
• Able to read, understand and follow blueprints and construction documents.
• Education Required: High school diploma or GED encouraged but not required, safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work independently and lead by example on work projects.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Must be able to work outside in changing weather conditions.
• Must be able to work in elevated locations.
• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and overtime when necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to different job locations.
