Base pay range $175,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

About the role

Our client is a $16bn long/short equity hedge fund with a track record spanning over 20 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform research and analysis on potential long/short equity investing opportunities
• Monitor existing positions and assist in the overall management of the hedge fund's strategy
• Work independently and as part of a team conducting financial statement analysis, industry research, and company-specific due diligence
• Assist in the development and implementation of equity investing strategies
• Prepare and present investment recommendations to the investment team
• Provide timely updates on changes in the investment thesis

Requirements

• 1-4 years of total work experience in a complex finance role, preferably within investment banking, equity research, or private equity
• Excellent academic credentials, Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably within finance, economics, or mathematics
• Experience in conducting research and due diligence, and producing “client ready” investment materials
• Strong quantitative aptitude with a high attention to detail
