Bullitt County Stone is an underground limestone mine/quarry seeking a ROOF BOLTER OPERATOR for our underground operation located in Shepherdsville, KY. • Day Shift
• approximate shift times of 06:00 a.m. - 4 p.m.
• Starting pay for this position is $23/hr. Additional pay will be determined based on the candidate’s experience level and skill set.

Required

• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• At least one-year of proficient experience operating underground mining equipment – such as a roof bolter, face drill, or scaler – is preferred.
• Willing to work in an underground mining environment.
• Able to operate underground mining equipment with precision and excellence in a confined space.
• Physically capable of shoveling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work underground and outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, climb, and walk for extended periods of time throughout the day.
• Must be able to work underground and outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
• Able to be coached and pick up on new tasks quickly.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
• Self-motivated - able to work without requiring close supervision.
• Must pass pre-employment drug-screening.
