About the role

Waste Pro has immediate openings for energetic CDL Drivers in the Greater Concord area. The company serves millions of customers daily with its fleet of trucks, requiring professional, experienced, hardworking, and dedicated individuals.

Responsibilities

• Secure containers by attaching hooks to containers, using control levers to pull them onto the truck bed, securing straps and hand tarps as needed.
• Provide distinguished service through courteous and expeditious customer service in all aspects of refuse operations.
• Exhibit a positive attitude towards company, customers, and municipal goals.
• Answer customer questions and direct them to Customer Service or Sales Representatives for additional information.
• Operate compaction and lift equipment on the vehicle.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to Waste Pro procedures and DOT guidelines.
• Complete Safety Lane activities and DVIRs daily in accordance with Waste Pro safety lane guidelines.
• Inspect and clean the truck, including checking under the hood, under the carriage, checking fluid levels, and inflating tires.
• Maintain a clean and well-groomed truck, washing the exterior weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL for the state where the position works.
• A clean driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines, and DOT and state requirements for commercial motor vehicle operators.
• Ability to hear and see within normal ranges, and to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and maintain written records.
