The founders of Central Recycling Services (CRS) have been involved in all aspects of Construction and Demolition (C&D), waste recycling and management for over 25 years.

About this position: Roll Off Driver Location – Anchorage, AK

• Drive a semi-truck and trailer
• Inspect Trucks/Tractors/Trailers before and after every trip or as required by management or DOT
• Maintain accurate driver logs
• Maintain proper documentation per regulatory requirements for transport and disposals
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned

Required (Minimum Necessary)

• Knowledge of semi-truck operating principles
• Knowledge of roll off cans, and how to pick them up/drop them off
• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to drivers
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must be able to work 8-to-12-hour workdays, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• US Citizen

• This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
• DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements
• This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.

• The job is performed primarily in a semi-truck, with exposure to equipment and machinery, computers, and maintenance equipment.
• Occasional travel is required.

• The job is onsite.
• No ability to work from home.

Schedule and Flexibility

• 40+ hrs. a week

Additional Qualifying Factors

• As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
• If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
