Job Responsibilities and Tasks
- Disassembly and reassembly of bearing housings, and internal roll components using air tools, hand tools and bearing pullers.
- Inspection of roll components and parts.
- Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and performance.
- Help meet or exceed quality goals through a quality maintenance program.
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Qualification Requirements
- Experience: 2 years of relevant manufacturing, mechanical, or millwright experience, or 2 years technical training preferred.
- Languages: English
- Must be an excellent communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Requires knowledge of computers with skills in Excel and Word
- Basic hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, cutting with a torch, basic layout, blueprint reading, precision measurement, bearings, chains, sprockets, and troubleshooting techniques
- Basic computer /data entry skills
- Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, and stooping).
