About the role
Rocky Boy School District is searching for a dynamic, energetic teacher to fill an opening within their primary grades as a Sixth Grade Teacher for the 2019-20 school year.
Responsibilities
- Teach core subjects to students in a self-contained classroom setting.
- Collaborate with other certified teachers for PE, Music, Art, and Cree Language classes.
- Utilize technology such as computers, tablets, iPads, SmartBoards, digital hardware, and interactive applications.
- Instruct an interactive elementary curriculum focused on academic excellence.
Requirements
- Highly motivated and team player.
- Proficiency in technology including computers, tablets, iPads, SmartBoards, digital hardware, and interactive applications.
- Endorsement in OOE-Elementary Curriculum, Montana certified, or ability to obtain Montana certification.
- A minimum of 10 years teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Montana teaching certificate.
- Knowledge of Infinite Campus gradebooks and related software.
- Experience with online applications and digital tools.
Skills
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
