About the role

Rocky Boy School District is searching for a dynamic, energetic teacher to fill an opening within their primary grades as a Sixth Grade Teacher for the 2019-20 school year.

Responsibilities

• Teach core subjects to students in a self-contained classroom setting.
• Collaborate with other certified teachers for PE, Music, Art, and Cree Language classes.
• Utilize technology such as computers, tablets, iPads, SmartBoards, digital hardware, and interactive applications.
• Instruct an interactive elementary curriculum focused on academic excellence.

Requirements

• Highly motivated and team player.
• Proficiency in technology including computers, tablets, iPads, SmartBoards, digital hardware, and interactive applications.
• Endorsement in OOE-Elementary Curriculum, Montana certified, or ability to obtain Montana certification.
• A minimum of 10 years teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Montana teaching certificate.
• Knowledge of Infinite Campus gradebooks and related software.
• Experience with online applications and digital tools.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
