Key Responsibilities
- Ensure food safety, quality and legality.
- At times, may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ensure product does not pile up.
- Inspect meat for defects (bone, veins, skin, etc.).
- Assist in other departmental areas as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day.
- Free use of hands and free range of arm movement.
- Ability to bend repeatedly at the waist for 8-10 hours per day.
- Ability to safely walk to and in the plant.
- Ability to properly wear personal protective equipment, and any other equipment necessary for certain departments.
