Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Motivating and leading your team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain our high standards.
- Operational Excellence: Ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run efficiently, from food preparation to customer service to cleanliness.
- Sales and Profitability: Contributing to the restaurant's success by increasing sales, managing costs, and maximizing profitability.
- Training and Development: Assisting in the training and development of team members, helping them excel in their roles.
- Cultural Stewardship: Upholding and promoting Angry Chickz's unique culture among both the team and customers.
- Hands-On Involvement: You'll be actively involved in various tasks, from food preparation to customer interactions, and you'll maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications
- You've got an eagle eye for details, and you're all about staying organized, even when things change.
- You're self-driven, flexible, and full of energy, and you're a champ at talking, writing, and listening.
- You're awesome at solo missions and team work.
- You see problems, make goals, create plans, and get things rolling.
- You're a tech wizard, rocking Microsoft Office and ready to learn new tech tricks.
- You're up for all sorts of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and even some travel if needed.
- You're the picture of professionalism, inside and outside the restaurant, making Angry Chickz proud.
- You've got experience managing restaurants, and if you've opened a new joint or done some local marketing, even better.
- You're 18 or older
Language Ability
- Able to speak clearly and comprehend directions in English.
- Able to read English.
- Ability to read/speak Spanish is extremely helpful but not mandatory.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability and willingness to solve problems individually and as a Team Work.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and bend and twist at the waist.
- Frequently speak and hear.
- Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Use of hands to grasp tools such as a knife, spatula, ladle, and other utensils to prepare food.
- Repetitive hand use.
- Reaching for items below waist level (retrieving food items from walk-in cooler or drawers), between waist and shoulder level (washing dishes, placing plates on shelf), and above shoulder (retrieving plates or containers from shelves).
- Exposure to extreme cold (walk-in cooler), extreme heat (stove, oven), moisture (water, steam, dishwasher), and dust, fumes, or chemicals (cleaning solutions).
