About the role
The Robotics Reliability & Field Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficient operation of robotic systems in manufacturing environments. This role involves managing field service teams to provide on-site support and maintenance, as well as overseeing the implementation of new robotic technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage field service teams to ensure prompt and effective resolution of robotic system issues
- Oversee the deployment and integration of new robotic technologies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of field service technicians
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in robotics, manufacturing, or related field
- Proven track record of managing field service teams and implementing new technologies
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
Qualifications
- Experience with robotic systems and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of quality assurance and lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
