You will build robotics software and controls pipelines, integrate sensors/actuators, and improve reliability from simulation to real-world deployment. About The Role You will design and implement robotics software combining motion planning, perception, and real-time control. The work includes integrating sensors (cameras, LiDAR, IMU), building robust state estimation and sensor fusion, and validating behaviors via simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain ROS/ROS2 nodes, launch configurations, and communication interfacesDevelop motion planning pipelines (trajectory generation, collision checking, constraints) and tune controllersImplement perception and sensor fusion for reliable localization and mapping (SLAM)Integrate hardware drivers for actuators, cameras, LiDAR, encoders, and industrial I/OCreate simulation and validation workflows (Gazebo/Isaac Sim) with regression tests and benchmarksAnalyze field logs, root-cause failures, and ship fixes improving robustness and latencyDocument architecture, APIs, and operational runbooks; support CI/CD and engineering QA Required Qualifications Mid-senior experience delivering robotics or automation systems in productionStrong C++ and Python skills for robotics applicationsHands-on ROS/ROS2 experience and Linux development proficiencyUnderstanding of kinematics, dynamics, and control systems (e.g., PID)Experience with SLAM/state estimation and sensor fusionAbility to design tests, measure performance, and iterate based on data Remote Work and Collaboration This posting is explicitly marked Remote.
