Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and operations) to design and deliver custom robotic manufacturing and inspection solutions
- Support concept development, trade studies, and feasibility assessments for new automation approaches
- Document and communicate designs, test results, and system performance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support the development of robotic systems for internal and external customers
Requirements & Desired Skills
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to receive and maintain clearance
- B.S. in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in robotics engineering or automation integration
- Hands-on experience with robotic arms (Kuka, Fanuc, Universal Robots, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in robotics programming (ROS/ROS2, C++, Python, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of sensors, actuators, control system (PLC), and safety-rated robotics
- Familiarity with CAD and simulation tools (SolidWorks, Gazebo, Isaac Sim, RobotMaster, RoboDK or equivalent)
