Robotics & Autonomous Vehicles Coach

About the role

We are seeking an experienced autonomous vehicles and robotics professional to coach students looking to break into or advance within the field.

Responsibilities

• Help students strengthen their technical foundation across autonomous systems engineering, robotics software and AI, sensor fusion and perception, and control systems and path planning.
• Understand human-robot interaction and regulatory and safety standards.
• Support career development by reviewing resumes and cover letters, refining LinkedIn profiles, and preparing students for both behavioral and technical interviews.
• Guide students on networking strategy and salary negotiation as they work to land roles in the field.

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience in autonomous vehicles or robotics (industry, research, or academia).
• Prior mentoring or teaching experience.
• A clear, structured approach to explaining complex technical concepts and career strategy alike.

Qualifications

• Experience in relevant fields such as autonomous systems engineering, robotics software and AI, sensor fusion and perception, and control systems and path planning.
• Understanding of human-robot interaction and regulatory and safety standards.
• Ability to mentor and teach students effectively.
• Strong communication skills to guide students through technical and career challenges.
