Robotics Application Engineer

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Robotics Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience, combining the challenges of heavy machinery with the precision of cutting-edge autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Data-Driven Evaluation: Evaluate site data to predict autonomous performance and ensure readiness for deployment.
• Real-Time Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex issues across the entire stack, from hardware to software.
• Technical Strategy: Work closely with partners to identify new customer sites and provide technical insights to enhance our systems.
• Customer Partnership: Communicate effectively with clients, translating technical concepts into actionable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a technical role, focusing on maintaining critical systems.
• Hands-on experience with deployed robotics systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Rust, C++, and Linux.
• Experience with version control and deploying code in live environments.
• Strong understanding of robotics stacks, including sensor fusion, computer vision, motion planning, and embedded systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and interact with industry debug tools.
• Experience with data visualization and analytical tools to interpret performance metrics.
