The Role

The Weld Robot Operator will develop new programs, train the robot, troubleshoot welding issues, and be responsible for robot up time. This position involves some manual fabrication, grinding, finishing, and quality verification.

Responsibilities

• Experience programming, fine tuning, and managing robotic welders
• Responsible for Robot Welder Up Time
• Track daily production build counts and flow
• Weld a variety of steel structures per CAD print requirements
• Build complete assemblies from start to finish including grinding and finishing
• Read and understand product schematics and verify dimensions
• Use a variety of manufacturing tools per job specifications
• Ensure quality control standards are met on every build
• Adhere to all safety standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience
• Minimum 1+ year working on a robotic welder
• Preferably experience with OTC Robotic Welders
• Must be 18 or older
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
