Key Responsibilities
- Set up fixtures and verify part numbers before production begins.
- Adjust fixtures, load parts into welding machines, and run Fanuc robotic welding systems.
- Closely observe operations to ensure weld integrity.
- Conduct first-piece inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Submit samples to the quality department if specifications are met.
- Perform required finishing operations such as grinding and removing rough spots.
- Use MIG and TIG welding techniques as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Able to read work orders and blueprints to verify materials, tolerances, and production sequences.
- Accuracy in completing paperwork and system entries is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under deadlines.
- The capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
