Robotic Visual Inspection (RVI) Assistant - Charlotte, NC

About the role

This assistant is responsible for assisting in Robotic Visual Inspections utilizing equipment including borescopes, push cameras, crawler systems, and underwater submarines. When foreign material is discovered, the assistant will work to perform retrieval. The technician will also assist in the development of inspection techniques. This role requires travel to job sites, including power generation stations (nuclear, fossil, natural gas, etc.). Additionally, the assistant will support other ATS Departments as needed during peak seasons. This is a full-time position based in Harrisburg, NC (northeast of Charlotte, NC) and may require relocation for qualified candidates not already living in the area.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing Robotic Visual Inspection (RVI) tasks.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
• Assist in preparing and delivering customer reports.
• Become proficient in operating robotic and remote visual inspection tools.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure operational needs are met.
• Address and resolve operational issues with minimal guidance.
