ROBOTIC SYSTEMS ENGINEER — WEEKEND SHIFT

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain, develop, and implement robotic solutions to automate modular construction processes
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance robotic systems
  • Program and support robots, PLCs, HMIs, and camera systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and optimize production processes
  • Analyze and troubleshoot logic, electrical, and mechanical issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and innovative automation strategies

Qualifications

  • Expertise in robotics and process automation, including designing, maintaining, and implementing automated systems
  • PLC programming experience using structured text (B&R preferred)
  • Experience with ABB RAPID programming
  • HMI development experience
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in software development for robotic systems programming and integration
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present technical concepts
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols related to robotics and automation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment is preferred

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
