Robot Operator - Days

Responsibilities

• Operate Unit Load (Robot), including use of WinCC and making necessary adjustments
• Respond to alarms, including clearing jams along the production lines
• Load and maintain pallet de-stacker according to proper procedures
• Maintain strapper, including changing rolls and adjusting tension
• Maintain hooder, including changing rolls and adjusting tension
• Maintain labeler, including changing label rolls and printing ribbons
• Clear jams on label machines
• Optimize machine operations in alignment with production needs
• Actively troubleshoot equipment and machines
• Prepare for product changes in advance of production
• Notify Lead Hand or Supervisor of any problems
• Communicate unusual conditions, equipment breakdowns, or repair needs
• Complete shutdown tasks according to shutdown procedures or checklists
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Work in a safe manner and follow all established safety rules
• Inform the next shift of any unresolved problems or tasks needing attention
