What You’ll Do
- Create memorable dining and entertainment experiences for guests
- Entertain and engage guests through puppet shows, character performances, and live portrayals
- Handle guest photos and meet-and-greet moments professionally
- Log any costume repairs, prop issues, or performance notes
- Participate in post-shift debriefs to discuss audience engagement and show improvements
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by Entertainment leadership
Qualifications/Skills
- 18+ years of age
- Prior performance experience in theater, improv, hosting, voice acting, puppetry, mascot work, or character acting
- Roaming Cast can be assigned one or more roles based on skills and experience
- Role-specific qualifications include:
- Puppeteer: Prior experience with various puppetry styles, including trigger, rod, and Avenue Q-style puppets
- Exceptional manual dexterity to operate puppets smoothly and realistically, perform scripted scenes with expressive motion, and synchronize spoken words with puppet actions
- Strong non-verbal communication skills, convey emotions and enthusiasm through physical gestures and expressions
- Able to perform in confined spaces and wear costumed or mascot-style suits with limited visibility and mobility, while tolerating heat
- Standard characters: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, passionate about entertaining others, able to communicate effectively in English
- Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Able to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills
- Must be able to walk at least 10,000 steps per shift, including stairs, inclines, and declines
- Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue under pressure
Physical & Environmental Demands
