Roadway Section Manager

For our client, a leader in the Consumer Technology space, we are seeking a Roadway Section Manager to lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Review and approve staffing budgets and schedules for projects
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and manage temporary personnel
• Monitor quality and progress on projects to meet production requirements
• Collaborate with Project Managers to resolve staffing and quality issues
• Support pre-contract and business development efforts as a technical consultant
• Lead efforts in quality improvement and compliance with standards
• Develop and implement staffing plans and career development for team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 15+ years of experience with road and highway projects, including TDOT
• Tennessee Professional Engineer (PE) registration
• Demonstrated supervisory/managerial capabilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong knowledge of industry practices and regulations
• Familiarity with engineering software and technology for road design

Pay

$134,100 – $241,400 annually
