Roadway Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of transformative roadway, highway, and interstate projects across the region
• Work alongside division leadership and technical experts to help grow our transportation practice
• Shape client strategy and position Benesch for long-term success in North Carolina’s evolving infrastructure landscape

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain through reciprocity
• 12+ years of progressive roadway, highway, and/or interstate design experience
• Demonstrated success leading transportation projects through all phases of delivery
• Strong project management skills, including scope, budget, schedule, and QA/QC oversight
• Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering projects for NCDOT
• Familiarity with public-sector procurement and bidding processes
• Business development and proposal leadership exposure
• Experience mentoring technical staff and contributing to team growth

Qualifications
