Roadway Engineering Team Leader

About the role

This position will oversee a team of engineers throughout all project phases, ensuring quality and timely delivery of roadway design projects for DOT and local agencies. By promoting teamwork, mentoring junior staff, ensuring timely and quality project delivery, and managing client relationships, you will boost both project success and the firm's reputation and growth in transportation engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE)
• Typically requires 10+ years of progressive experience in Roadway Design Engineering; experience on DOT roadway projects is highly desirable
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and enhance client relationships
• Experience with project management and accounting software
• Exceptional organization skills
• Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools for design, project management, and analysis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid Driver's License
