Roadway Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and gather data for roadway design projects.
- Prepare detailed plans, specifications, and estimates for roadway projects.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar drafting software.
- Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and practices.
- Knowledge of hydraulic modeling and stormwater management techniques.
- Experience with GIS and mapping software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
