About the role
As an Arrow Electric Superintendent for our Highway Group, you will be responsible for assisting in the field planning, supervision, and installation of Electrical Systems for assigned projects to meet project requirements for contract, schedule, and specifications. The Superintendent manages, mentors, supports, and trains project Foremen and Project Team in the adherence to and execution of Arrow Electric policies and procedures, while ensuring that all work is performed within company and project guidelines for safety and quality and in conformance with all regulatory compliance requirements.
Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Team and customer relationships in a manner promoting company Core Values.

- Train and Mentor world-class Foremen and Project Teams.
- Assist the project Foreman with the planning phase of each project.
- Perform project visits and walkthroughs as needed to ensure the plan for each project is being executed and on schedule as required.
- Assist project Foreman with management and support of Project Teams.
- Understand, manage, and allocate Department workforce based on crewmember strengths.
- Evaluate Team to identify skills and knowledge opportunities to support training and development initiatives.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 10+ years of electrical field experience (3+ years of roadway electrical field experience) with 3+ years of electrical crew supervision experience.
- Positive customer service attitude.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC and electrical construction processes (Kentucky Electrical License preferred).
- Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, schematics, and specs to fully understand electrical scope of work, scheduling, safety, and quality requirements.
- Self-directed and capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Careful attention to detail and timely follow-through.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Able to work effectively in stressful, time-sensitive environments.
- High standard of integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with customers, company team members, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Valid driver's license (CDL A preferred).
