About the role

Your Primary Responsibilities will include transforming communities and strengthening connectivity through roadway design projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs while adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of roadway projects from concept to completion
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
  • Develop detailed design documents and specifications
  • Manage project budgets and schedules
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Oversee the quality and accuracy of design deliverables
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in roadway design and construction
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other relevant software

Qualifications

  • Experience with alternative delivery methods and public-private partnerships
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green infrastructure
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Skills

  • Strong technical skills in roadway design
  • Experience with GIS and spatial analysis tools
  • Understanding of traffic engineering principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
