About the role
Lead transformative transportation projects and build your legacy with DRMP. As a Roadway Design Project Manager, you will drive innovative roadway solutions across Georgia, shaping communities, mentoring talent, and growing your career in a purpose-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Overall management of transportation infrastructure improvement projects of varying complexity across Georgia.
- Provide professional engineering design services for transportation improvement projects, including:
- New location corridors
- Roadway widening
- Bicycle and pedestrian facilities
- Highway safety enhancements
- Intersections and interchanges
- Design-build projects
- Guide projects through all phases—from advanced planning to final design and construction support—while collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality, on-budget solutions.
- Oversee development of construction plans, specifications, estimates, and detailed engineering calculations.
- Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, and internal teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Direct and mentor design support staff, fostering technical growth and alignment.
- Conduct engineering investigations and feasibility analyses using collected data.
- Evaluate alternative design solutions and contribute to critical decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Georgia PE license.
- 10-15+ years of roadway design experience; GDOT experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO and State DOT design standards.
- Management acumen, including budgeting, scheduling, job tracking, client interaction, and staff management.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to forge strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members.

Pay
$100,000 - $140,000 / year
