Responsibilities
- Work on exciting and engaging projects and utilize your highway/roadway design expertise.
- Lead teams on our larger projects.
- Work directly with the Portland and WSDOT Olympic Region offices and their transportation team to solve complex problems.
- Take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
- Identify applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems.
- Deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living leading functional teams or projects.
- Serve as a best practice/quality resource.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in transportation work with an emphasis on roadway/highway and geometrics final design and/or Maintenance of Traffic and Traffic Control final design
- Professional Engineering license
- MicroStation/Inroads and Openroads background
- Experience with plans preparation, specifications, estimates and design documentation
- Experience with multi-discipline infrastructure engineering design and construction projects
- ADA design experience
- Previous WA or OR Department of Transportation experience

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $7,500.00 to $150,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
