About the role

Lead a team of professionals in the design and implementation of sustainable infrastructure solutions. Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainable infrastructure projects that meet client needs while adhering to environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess project feasibility, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to keep clients informed and address any issues or concerns.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and presentations to clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant environmental laws and regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on sustainable design principles and project management techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sustainable infrastructure design and management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices, including LEED, BREEAM, and other green building certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Experience with sustainable infrastructure financing mechanisms and public-private partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of environmental impact assessment and permitting processes.
  • Knowledge of sustainable materials and construction methods.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel required.
