Roadside Technician Commercial Tires (Training Provided) - Walton Hills, OH

About the role

An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tire-related failures at customer locations to repair or change tires.
• Help mount orders, clean, and organize the shop.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous commercial service tire experience is preferred.

Skills

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.

Pay

Starting pay $21.00 - $24.00 Experience Based Hourly Pay.

Schedule

Shift Information: This position includes participation in a mandatory on-call rotation. During an assigned on-call period, Technicians are expected to respond to after-hours service requests—including evenings and weekends—with a high rate of acceptance. All after-hours service calls are compensated at a premium pay rate with guaranteed minimums.
