Roads & Highways Civil Engineer
About the role
Aid in the planning, design, and creation of engineering drawings. Supervise the production of these drawings. Undertake specific tasks in creating and assembling specifications. Participate in conducting engineering investigations and planning work by completing defined tasks. Tasks may involve collecting and analyzing data using established procedures, performing routine calculations, and evaluating the feasibility of alternative solutions. Prepare designated sections of reports under the close supervision of a more experienced professional. Engage in projects involving construction activities by reviewing shop drawings for compliance with easily interpretable specifications; assist in record-keeping and generating progress reports; observe simple construction procedures and collect samples for quality control testing.

Requirements
- 0-2 Years of professional experience in a related technical field.
- Completion of Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering degree from an ABET accredited college/university.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer (strongly preferred).
- Demonstrate strong communication skills including active listening.
- Willingness to ask questions.
Skills
- E.I. or E.I.T. (or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).

Pay
$70,000 - $83,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
