Road Logistics Terminal Handling Manager

About the role

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking an experienced Road Terminal Handling Manager to lead warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and team performance at our El Paso facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inbound, outbound, and inventory management processes while maintaining operational excellence.
• Maintain warehouse management system transactions and inventory control programs to achieve and sustain best-in-class inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with C-TPAT, QSHE, security, safety, and customer-specific standards, policies, and procedures.
• Manage warehouse facilities, equipment, consumables, and staffing resources to support operational and customer requirements.
• Develop, coach, and lead warehouse teams through training, performance management, employee development, and daily operational meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, analyze operational data and KPIs, and implement process enhancements to increase productivity and service quality.
• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues, support financial objectives, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing warehouse resources while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse management systems (WMS), and operational KPI reporting.
• Experience with C-TPAT, security procedures, workplace safety programs, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication, coaching, and customer service skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Skills

Proven leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
