About the role
TForce Freight is seeking a reliable and experienced LTL Road Driver to join our growing logistics team. The successful candidate will transport freight across regional and non-regional routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
TForce Freight is a less-than-truckload (LTL) freight carrier in North America, operating as a subsidiary of TFI International. We provide transportation and logistics services for various types of shipments, including palletized and heavy LTL loads, with 178+ service centers offering regional, interregional, and long-haul transportation, cross-border services, and advanced tracking technology.
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods to various locations safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly before departure.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and handling any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs for driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo conditions.
- Communicate with the dispatch management team regarding schedules, delays, and any issues that may arise during transportation.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in resident state.
- Hazmat, tanker, and doubles endorsements.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Meet all DOT and Company requirements.
- Safety perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or co-workers.
- Able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Impeccable customer service and dedication.
- Complete 10-year employment history on the application in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
