Road Construction Striping Laborer- Summerville, SC - 19.50 - $20.50 with CDL

About the role

This is an entry-level, full-time position as a Road Striping Laborer & Driver. The company provides training; no prior experience is necessary. Most superintendents and managers began their careers in this role.

Overnight travel is occasionally required. When travel is necessary, the company covers hotel costs and provides a $35.00 per diem.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized specialty equipment to mark state, county, rural, and city roads.
• Perform surface preparation, line grinding, and water-blasting eradication.
• Work a variable schedule that includes weekends.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a good MVR.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug test and DOT physical.
• Clean background check.
• CDL license is preferred but not required for the base laborer role.

Pay

Starting hourly pay:

• $19.50 for non-CDL laborers.
• $20.50 for CDL laborers.
