Road Construction Pavement Marking Laborer- $18.00 - $19.00 with CDL

About the role

This position requires the individual to work a variable schedule which includes nights and weekend work. Use computerized specialty equipment to mark all state, county, rural, and city roads. Out of town overnight travel is required but not consistently out of town. When overnight travel is required, the company pays for the hotel and $35.00 a day per diem.

Responsibilities

• Work with computerized specialty equipment to mark all state, county, rural, and city roads
• Perform road striping tasks including marking lanes, signs, and other markings
• Handle computerized specialty equipment to ensure accurate and efficient marking
• Participate in out-of-town overnight travel as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a good MVR
• Pass a DOT drug test and DOT physical
• CDL license preferred but not required
• Entry-level position, no prior experience necessary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficiency with computerized specialty equipment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
