Road Construction Equipment Operator

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy construction equipment including graders, excavators, loaders, dozers, scrapers, mixers, and water trucks
• Complete equipment loading and unloading activities
• Inspect machinery before and after operation
• Monitor equipment performance and document findings
• Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance
• Ensure equipment remains in safe operating condition
• Follow all project and company safety requirements

• Demonstrated experience operating heavy equipment
• Strong coordination and mechanical awareness
• Effective communication with crew members and supervisors
• Able to think critically and solve problems in the field
• Safety-focused mindset
• Able to work efficiently as part of a construction team

Minimum Qualifications

• Successful completion of background screening, drug test, and physical
• Availability for overtime and occasional weekend or night work
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Capable of performing strenuous physical activities
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
