RNG Service Technician

Essential Duties

• Operate/Maintain RNG biomethane compressors.
• Perform on-call maintenance as required.
• Inspect and repair sensors and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and VFD’s as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair HMI and PLC components.
• Assist with biogas powered generators as needed.
• Verifies and ensures unit’s serviceability by following operational & service checklists.
• Maintains units’ records by thoroughly recording service/ repair tasks and parts used.
• Transmits information and documents with work on computer and phone.
• Provides superior customer service.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Experience

• Industrial Electricity & Controls, Natural Gas Systems, Piping, air/ gas compressors.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Trade school graduate with industrial electrical focus. Engine technology also a plus.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• On call for nights and weekends as required.
• Overtime

Travel

• Travel to sites within specified work area daily.
• Travel around the US, possibly up to 50%, required.
