As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be accountable for the care of a group of patients, focusing on safe, effective patient and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes. You will assist in maintaining a financially stable unit, promote your own development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education supported by a Practice Governance framework, and supervise licensed and non-licensed staff members.

Applying the caring processes of the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care, you will assess, develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care, focusing on patient and family comforts, education, and satisfaction. You will apply your educational and professional experiences in the delivery of quality care and mentoring/precepting staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, effective patient and family-centered care.
  • Assist in maintaining a financially stable unit.
  • Promote personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.
  • Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff members.
  • Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care using the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care.
  • Focus on patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction.
  • Deliver quality care and mentor/precept staff.

Qualifications

  • 13 months or more of RN or LPN experience.
  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky.
